What happens after the intervention takes place?

The common fear for many is that the intervention will act as a wake-up call for the substance abuser but that it will not be enough to keep him/her off drugs and alcohol. This is true – the intervention itself is only the first step in the recovery treatment process, but 411 Intervention can provide support throughout. After the intervention takes place the specialist will help transport the individual to a chosen treatment location and continue to communicate with the family and monitor individual progress.
